She is best known for her performance as Judy Kramer from the 2005 Fox TV series Point Pleasant and Marcy Brender from the Dawson's creek series. Three years ago she was a character on Marina Cooper on the Guiding Light. This role earned her a nomination at Soap Opera Digest Awards in 2003 for Best newcomer. Between 2007 and 2008 Dollar played Cindy Thomas on the ABC show Women's Murder Club. The actress was on her 2012 NBC Pilot Happy Valley but it was not picked-up.
