Gina Joy Carano was a mixed martial arts champion, an actress and a fitness model. She started out as a Muay Thai athlete and was crowned as the face of Women's MMA. She has a Muay Thai performance record has been impressive 12 wins, and just one loss. It's the first time that an American woman has been awarded a Muay Thai championship in Thailand. Growing up she did ballet, gymnastics, jazztap and horseback riding. In school, she excelled at volleyball and softball basketball. She is also trained in Jiu-Jitsu as well as wrestling.
