Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26, 1978. She was in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (2000). Ana Paula Oliveira became a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March 2020. Her current role is analyst in charge of the Assassination Witness project and part of the G-TOC's multilateral engagement team. Her work at GI-TOC is focused on the assassination of people in the context of illicit economies. Research interests include the effects of organized crime in relation to law, policy and law relating to the human right. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) and holds an LL.M. She has an LL.M. on Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, which is a lauded magna in Legal and Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her legal experience includes four years of practice at a firm that specializes in public law litigation. Additionally, she has held a number of assistant positions with two non-governmental organizations, Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
