Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 in 1978. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997) are three of her most acclaimed films. Ana Paula Oliveira became a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March of 2020. She is the manager of Assassination Witness in addition to being a member of the GI-TOC multilateral team. At GI-TOC, her research focuses on assassinations in contexts of illegal economies. Her research interests also involve the effect of criminal organizations on human rights and the humanitarian laws and policies. Ana Paula has an LL.M. in cum laude (with honors) from the field of International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She holds earned an LL.M. qualification from the School of Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula is a graduate of Rio de Janeiro's Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with an MAGNACUM LOVE degree at the level of Legal as well as Social Sciences. She is a licensed lawyer who worked at a law firm focused on public law litigation for over four years. She has also held a number of assistant positions with the two non-governmental organisations in Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
