Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira is a Brazilian actress, born June 26, 1978, at Campinas Sao Paulo. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997) are three of her most acclaimed films. Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in the month of March, 2020. She currently manages the Assassination Witness Project, and is a major part of the multilateral engagement of GI-TOC. Her research at the GI-TOC focus on assassinations, disappearances or other acts of violence, particularly in the context of illicit economy. Her interests in research also include the influence of criminal organizations in relation to human rights, as well as laws and policies. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) with an LL.M. She also holds an LL.M. of Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her professional experience has included four years of practicing with a firm specializing in public law litigation. Her previous experience includes has worked in non-government organisations that are based in Rio de Janeiro as well as Geneva.
